Don Powell of Christian Resort Ministries has generously donated the funds to establish the Dr. Richard Rigsby Scholarship.
The Dr. Richard Rigsby Scholarship fund was established in honor of Richard’s many years of faithful service to Talbot School of Theology, and it is intended to help students financially who are ministering in predominantly Hispanic congregations.

I want to thank you so very much for your generous gift that has enabled me to receive the Dr. Richard Rigsby Scholarship.
Having served as a missionary in Mexico City, I have experienced some of the joys and challenges of sharing the Gospel in another country. Now, during my time at Talbot for further training, I am both humbled and expectant to see how the Lord will use my studies here for ministry purposes in the future. I am enrolled in a Masters Program for spiritual formation and my desire is to use this degree to encourage and support counseling and mentoring in women’s ministry in the local Mexican church community.
