Kay Henry
Kay Henry and others have generously donated the funds to establish the April Jace Memorial Scholarship. April’s passion for education was equal only to her love for running. She was known for her exuberant manner, her graceful style, and her ability to build community. April came to know the Lord along with her two older brothers in Inglewood, California, as a teenager. She worked at Biola in Financial Aid from 2012 to 2014. April had a radiant smile that could light up any room, and her laughter was contagious. On April 19, 2014, April was shot and killed in her home. She was 40 years old. Her vitality and kindness are missed by many.
