Dear Mr. George Vogel:

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your generosity through the Elizabeth Jane Cornwell Scholarship. I was delighted to know that I was blessed as a recipient.

I am currently pursuing a masters degree in philosophy. After graduation, I plan to continue to the PhD program. However, things are very difficult since I come from Indonesia, a country with a low exchange currency, and I need to support myself. Thanks to you, the scholarship is a great help to me in paying my educational expenses.

I promise I will study hard and eventually give back to my community. Thank you again for your generosity and support. I pray that Christ will always bless you.
