Edna Kathryn Myers Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of Edna Kathryn Myers, who graduated from Talbot School of Theology in 1993 with a Master of Arts in Practical Theology. Eligible students are graduate students attending Talbot School of Theology. Applicants must demonstrate need by filing a FAFSA and demonstrating need. International students who have also completed the International Student Financial Need Application may also be awarded as funds are available.

Edna Myers was a wonderful sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, cousin and friend to all who knew her. After fighting cancer for many years, she died on November 1, 2014 and went to be with the Lord. Because of her incredible faith, which she passed on to so many others, her family believed a Memorial to her was important in continuing her work on this earth. This scholarship was established for Talbot students as a way to express their belief that Edna’s time at Talbot helped expand her skills as a teacher, which included her outstanding work in sharing her faith and bringing people to the Lord.
